The meaning: we Khampa boys from eastern Tibet, want to keep the commitment of the Tibetan people. The commitment of the Tibetan people is our life. We call upon you to collaborate and continue in this way.

We boys of eastern Tibet love the Dharma, and that the Sutra and Tantra teachings increase. These teachings are the way of peace. We pray that this principle should continue.

We boys of eastern Tibet want the Tibetans’ fortune to improve: the Tibetan language and writing is this fortune. We ask you not to forget them and to maintain them.
We Khampa boys love Tibetan culture: without culture we are an underdeveloped people. We ask you to remember this and develop Tibetan culture.

For example, I am Tibetan and feel that I have a responsibility toward Tibet, the Tibetans and Tibetan culture: this is called 'la-gyá'. It is almost a promise, it means that I must not abandon this, that I have to make an effort. It is not really a duty but that I feel this, that I must not abandon it but maintain it: 'la-gyá' of the family, 'la-gyá' of the nation, 'la-gyá' of the people, 'la-gyá' of our culture. ma-jéd: please do not forget our language and writing

Otherwise he speaks only Chinese because he has learnt Chinese well and thinks: “Ah, Tibetan language is not useful for anything!”

‘rig-bai-nás’ is a longer way to say ‘rig-nás’: for all types of ‘rig-nás’ 
la jyoŋ-xig: a good boy trains in that.
