རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲོལ་མ།

    rig-zìn dról-ma

མཐོ་~སྒང་  མཚར་~སྡུག་  ལྷ་~ཡི་  ཡུལ་~གྲུ་  ན~ །

tò~gán  càr~dúg  lha~yi  yul~drǔ  na~ ,

In the divine, beautiful country of the highland,

    ལས་~སྨོན་  འོད་~ཐག་  དཀར་~པོས་  འབྲེལ་~བ་  ལས ~ །

    las~mòn  hǒd~tag  gar~bos  drèl~va  las ~ ,

    Through a luminous beam of karma and aspirations,

གདོང་~དམར་  རུས་~པ་  གཅིག་~ལས་  བརྒྱུད་~པའི་  ཕྲེང་~ །

dón~már  rus~pa  jig~las  gyúd~bai  treŋ~ ,

A generation descended from a single ruddy faced clan,

    གངས་~ཅན་  བོད་~པ་  ཤ་~རུས་  གཅིག་~པའི་  སྤུན~ །

    gǎŋ~jan  bǒd~ba  xa~rus  jig~bai  bun~ .

    The Tibetans of the snowy land, siblings of the same family line.

འོ~ འོ།   ཁ་~སོང་  བསིལ་~ལྗོངས་  སྐྱིད་~ཀྱི་  རྩ་~ཐང་  དུ~ །

ǒ~ ǒ-   ka~soŋ  sìl~jóŋ  gyid~gyi  za~taŋ  dǔ~ ,

On the happy grassland of cooling trees where old cattle graze,

འོ~ འོ།   གཡང་~དཀར་   ལུ་~གུ་  འཁོར་~བའི་  རྨིག་~རྗེས་  ན~ །

ǒ~ ǒ-   yáŋ~gar   lu~gǔ  kòr~vai  míg~jés  na~ ,

The children are building together a merry playground,

    ན་~ཆུང་  སྐྱིད་~པའི་  རྩེ་~ར་  མཉམ་~དུ་  བརྩིགས~ །

    na~quŋ  gyid~bai  ze~ra  nám~dǔ  zig~ ,

    In the round hoof prints of white sheep,

        འབྱུང་འགྱུར་  རེ་~བའི་  རྨི་~ལམ་  མཉམ་~དུ་   རྨིས~ །

        jyùŋ-gyùr  re~vai  mí~lam  nám~dǔ   mís~ .

        They are dreaming together their hopes for the future.

དེ་~རིང་  ས་~ཆེན་  གཡོ་~བའི་   ང་~རོ་  ཡིས~ །

dě~riŋ  sa~qen  yó~vai  ŋa~ro  yis~

Today when the roar of the earthquake

    ས་~སྟེང་  སྤུན་~ཟླའི་  རོ་~ཡིས་  གང་~བའི་  དུས~ །

    sa~deŋ  bun~dái  ro~yis  gǎŋ~vai  dǔs~ ,

    Has filled the ground with the corpses of our siblings,

མིག་~ཆུ་  མཉམ་~དུ་   བཞུར་~བའི་  ཆོལ་~གསུམ་  བོད~ །

mig~qu  nám~dǔ   xúr~vai  qol~sùm  bǒd~ ,

The three regions of Tibet, with their tears melted together,

    སྐྱོ་~གདུང་  སྡུག་~གི་   ཁུར་~པོ་  མཉམ་~དུ་  ཁུར~ །

    gyo~dúŋ  dúg~gi   kur~bo  nám~dǔ  kur~ .

    Are carrying together the burden of grief and suffering.

འོ~ འོ།   མདོར་~ན་  སྐྱིད་~སྡུག་  སྣོལ་~མའི་  འཇིག་~རྟེན་  འདིར~ །

ǒ~ ǒ-   dòr~na gyid~dúg nòl~mai jìg~den dìr~ ,

In conclusion, in this world where happiness and sorrows are mixed,

འོ~ འོ།   དགའ་~ན་  སྐྱིད་~པའི་  དགོད་~སྒྲ་  ལྷན་~དུ་  སྒྲོག~

ǒ~ ǒ-   gá~na  gyid~bai  gód~drá  lhan~dǔ  dróg~ .

When we are happy, we laugh together a happy laughter.

    སྡུག་~རུང་  སྐྱོ་~བའི་  མིག་~ཆུ་  མཉམ་~དུ་  གཏོང་~ །

    dúg~ruŋ  gyo~vai  mig~qu  nám~dǔ  doŋ~ .

    When we suffer, we cry together tears of sorrow.

        དུས་གསུམ་  ཀུན་ཏུ་  སྐྱིད་~སྡུག་  གཅིག་~པ་  ཡིན~ །

        dǔs-sùm  gun-du  gyid~dúg  jig~ba  yin~ .

        In all of the three times happiness and sorrow are the same.

འོ~ འོ།   མདོར་~ན་  སྐྱིད་~སྡུག་  སྣོལ་~མའི་  འཇིག་~རྟེན་  འདིར~ །
