ཡར་~བལྟས་   དགུང་~སྔོན་   གནམ་~འམ  ལ~འ།

yar~das   gúŋ~ŋòn   nám~ǎm  la~ǎ,

I looked above, into the blue sky,

    དགུང་~གི་   ཉི་~ཟླ་   སྐར་~འ  གསུམ།

    gúŋ~gĭ   ñi~dá   gar~ǎ  sùm,

    To the sun, moon and stars of the firmament,

གནམ་~ འམལ་~   འཁོར་~ལོ་   རྩིབས་~བརྒྱད་   བཀྲ་~འ  ཤིས~འིས།

nám~ ǎmla~   kòr~lo    zib~gyád   dra~ǎ  xis~ĭs.

And saw the auspiciousness of the eight-spoked wheel in the sky.

    སྤུན་~ཟླ་   ལྷན་~འཛོམས་   ཡོང་~བའི་   བཀྲ་~ འཤིས་~ ཤོག~འོག

    To the three provinces of Do, U and Kham of the Land of Snow,

ས་~ འལ་~   དགེ་~བཅུ་   འཛོམས་~པའི་   བཀྲ་~འ  ཤིས~འིས།

sa~ ǎla~   gé~ju   zòm~bai   dra~ǎ  xis~ĭs.

And saw the gathering of the auspicious ten virtues on the land.
