རང་  ~ཡུལ་   བོད་~  དུ་~ ~  རྩ་~  ཆེའི་~   ལྗོན་~  ཤིང་~  དང་ ~།

raŋ  ~yul     bŏd~  dŭ~      za~  qei~   jòn~  xiŋ~  dăŋ ~

In our country, Tibet, the precious trees

རི་  ~སྐྱེས་   སྲོག་~ཆགས་   རྩ་~   མེད་~   འགྲོ་~  ཉེ་~  བས ~།

ri  ~gyes    sòg~qag    za~  med~    drò~   ñe~  vas ~.

And animals are being destroyed and are about to disappear.

གཏེར་  ~ཁ་   སྔོག་~འདོན་   ཤིང་~  ནགས་   གཅོད་~འབྲེག་   དང་ ~།

der  ~ka    ŋòg~dòn    xiŋ~  nag    jod~drèg    dăŋ ~,

Therefore we should prevent minerals from being mined,

བདག་  ~མེད་   སེམས་~ཅན་   སྲུང་~ ~སྐྱོབ་   ལ་~  རྒྱ་~    ཡིན ~ །

dág  ~med    sem~jan    sùŋ~  ~gyob    la~  gyá~   yin ~ .

It is our commitment to protect wild animals.

    བདག་  ~མེད་   སེམས་~ཅན་   སྲུང་~ ~སྐྱོབ་   ལ་~  རྒྱ་~    ཡིན ~ །

    dág  ~med   sem~jan    sùŋ~  ~gyob    la~  gyá~   yin ~ .

    It is our commitment to protect the wild animals.

གྲུབ་ ~མཐའ་   སོ་~ སོས་~ ~ ཕན་~  ཚུན་~  གུས་~  བཀུར་~  དང་ ~།

drŭb  ~tà    so~  sos~  ~  pan~  cun~   gŭs~  gur~ dăŋ ~ .

The religious schools need to respect each other.

ཆོལ་  ~གསུམ་   བོད་~མི་   རྡོག་~  རྩ་~   ཆིག་~  སྒྲིལ་~   དང་ ~།

qol  ~sùm    bŏd~mi   dóg~  za~   qig~  dríl~    dăŋ~.

Tibetans of the three regions must unite.

ཁྱོད་  ~དང་   ང་~ཞེས་   ཕན་~  ཚུན་  རྩོད་~གླེང་   སོགས ~།

kyod  ~dăŋ ŋa~xěs    pan  ~cun   zod~léŋ   sog ~ .

Let us not incite disputes based on “you and I,” and so forth;

མི་  ~བྱེད་   དམ་~བཅའ་   བྱེད་~  ~རྒྱུ་   ལ་~  རྒྱ་~  ཡིན ~ །

mi  ~jyěd    dăm~ja    byěd~ ~gyú    la~  gyá~   yin ~ .

Not to act like this is our vow and commitment.

    མི་  ~བྱེད་   དམ་~བཅའ་   བྱེད་~  ~རྒྱུ་   ལ་~ རྒྱ་~  ཡིན ~ །

    mi  ~jyěd    dăm~ja    byěd~ ~gyú    la~  gyá~   yin ~ .

    Not to act like this is our vow and commitment.

སྤྱོད་  ~ལམ་   ངན་~  པ་~ ~ ནག་~  ཚོང་~  ཆང་~  རག་~ དང་ ~།

jyod  ~lam   ŋan~  ba~ ~  nag~  coŋ~  qaŋ~  rag~ dăŋ ~ ,

Bad conduct, illegal deals, indulging in chang and hard liquor,

རྒྱན་  ~འཛུགས་   རྩེད་~མོ་   དུག་~  རྫས་~   འཐེན་~  རྒྱུ་~  སོགས ~།

gyán  ~zùg    zed~mo   dŭg~  zás~  tèn~  gyú~  sog ~ 

Gambling, smoking drugs, and so forth

མི་  ~རིགས་   འདི་~ཉིད་   བག་  ~མེད་   འགྱུར་~སྲིད་   པས ~།

mi  ~rig   dì~ñid    băg  ~med    gyùr~sìd    bas ~.

Can make our people neglectful.

སྤྱོད་  ~ངན་   དོར་~བ་   བོད་~ ~ཀྱི་   ལ་~  རྒྱ་~   ཡིན ~ །

jyod  ~ŋan    dòr~va    bŏd~ ~gyi    la~   gyá~   yin ~ .

To give up bad conduct is therefore the commitment of the Tibetans.

    སྤྱོད་  ~ངན་   དོར་~བ་   བོད་~ ~ཀྱི་   ལ་~  རྒྱ་~   ཡིན ~ །

    jyod  ~ŋan    dòr~va    bŏd~ ~gyi    la~   gyá~   yin ~ .

    To give up bad conduct is the commitment of the Tibetans.

མི་ ~རིགས་  གཞན་~  གྱིས་~ ~ རང་~  གི་~  སྐད་~  ཡིག་~  ལ ~།

mi  ~rig    xán~  gyĭs~ ~  raŋ~  gĭ~    gad~  yig~   la ~ .

People of other cultures look down on our language and script.

མཐོང་  ~ཆུང་   བྱེད་~ནས་   རྩ་~  བརླག་~   གཏོང་~  སྲིད་~  པས ~།

tòŋ  ~quŋ    jyěd~nas    za~  lág~    doŋ~   sìd~   bas ~,

Since this can cause their destruction,

སྤུན་  ~ཟླ་   རྣམས་~ཀྱིས་   རང་~ གི་   སྐད་~ཡིག་   ལ ~།

bun  ~dá    nám~gyis    raŋ~  gĭ~     gad~yig    la ~

Brothers and sisters, to hold our language in high regard

མཐོང་  ~ཆེན་   བྱེད་~པ་   བོད་~ ~ཀྱི་   ལ་~ རྒྱ་~   ཡིན ~ །

tòŋ  ~qen    jyěd~ba    bŏd~ ~gyi    la~  gyá~   yin ~ .

Is the commitment of the Tibetans.
