laŋ~coi   ñú~gǔ   bùs~ ǔ~ ǔs~~ sa~ ǎ~ 

The place where the bud of youth unfolded

    མདོ་~ཁམས་  གླིང་~དཀར་   སྟོད་~ འོད~  རེད~ འེ~ །

    dò~kam  líŋ~gar   dod~ ǒ~  red~ ě~ .

    Is the upper part of Lingkar in Dokham.

འདུན་~མའི་   གསོན་~ཤུགས་   འཚོལ་~ འོ~ ས~ འ~  །

dùn~mai   sòn~xug   còl~ ǒ~ sa~ ǎ~ 

The place where I pursued with enthusiasm my aspirations

    ལྷ་~ལྡན་   དག་~པའི་   ཞིང་~ འིན~ ཡིན~ འིན~ །

The place where the flower of love can mature

    གངས་~རི་   དཀར་~པོའི་   འདབས་~ འ~  རེད~ འེ~ །

    gǎŋ~ri   gar~boi    dàb~ ǎ~  red~ ě~ .

    Is at the foot of the White Snow Mountain.

རེ་~བའི་   མཛེས་~སྡུག་   བཅོལ་~ འོ~ ས~ འ~ །

The place where we entrust the beauty of our hopes

    པོ~ཏ་   ལ་~ཡི་   གནས་~ འས~ རེད~ འེ~ །

    Is the Potala.

        རེ་~བའི་   མཛེས་~སྡུག་   བཅོལ་~ འོ~ ས~ འ~ །

        The place where we entrust the beauty of our hopes

            པོ~ཏ་   ལ་~ཡི་   གནས་~ འས~ རེད~ འེ~ །

            Is the Potala.

དྭངས་~པའི་   སྙིང་~གཏམ་   གླེང་~ འེང~ འེང~~ ས~ འ~ །

dǎŋ~bai   ñìŋ~dam   léŋ~ ěŋ~ ěŋ ~~ sa~ ǎ~ 

The place to convey these pure words of my heart

    ཁ་~བ་  ཅན་~གྱི་   ལྗོངས་~ འོང~  རེད~ འེ~ །

    ka~va  jan~gyĭ   jóŋ~ ǒn~  red~ ě~ .

    Is the Land of Snow.

མི~འགྱུར་   མདུད་~པ་   མདུད་~ འུད~ ས~ འ~  །

mi~gyùr   dùd~ba   dùd~ ǔd~ sa~ ǎ~ 

The place to tie the indissoluble knot

    ནོར་~བུ་   གླིང་~ཁའི་   ཚལ་~ འ~ རེད~ འེ~ །

    Is the Norbulingka garden.

        མི~འགྱུར་   མདུད་~པ་   མདུད་~ འུད~ ས~ འ~ །

        mi~gyùr   dùd~ba   dùd~ ǔd~ sa~ ǎ~ ~ 

        The place to tie the indissoluble knot

            ནོར་~བུ་   གླིང་~ཁའི་   ཚལ་~ འ~ རེད~ འེ~ །

            nor~bǔ   líŋ~kai   cal~ ǎ~ red~ ě~ .

            Is the Norbulingka garden.

ང་~ཡི་   རྩ་~བའི་   བླ་~ འ~ འ~~ མ~ འ~ །

ŋa~yi   za~vai   lá~ ǎ~ ǎ~~ ma~ ǎ~ ,

My root lama,

    དམར་~ཆུང་  སྙིང་~གི་   རེ་~ འེ~  སྨོན~ འེ~ །

    már~quŋ   ñìŋ~gĭ   re~ ě~  mòn~ ě~ ,

    Hope and desire of this small red heart,

ཉི་~མ་   ནམ་~ཞིག་   འགྲུབ་~ འུ~ འོང~ འོང~ །

ñi~ma   nam~xĭg   drùb~ ǔ~ hǒŋ~ ǒŋ~ ~
