གངས་~ཅན་   བོད་~ཀྱི་   མགོན་~  འོན~   པོ~ འོ~།

gǎŋ~jan   bǒd~gyi   gòn~  ǒn~   bo~  ǒ~,

The protector of snowy Tibet

ལྷ་~གཅིག་   ཕྱག་~ན་   པད་~མོའི~  འོ~ ~།

lha~jig   qyag~na   bad~moi~  ĭ~ ~,

Is the divinity that holds the lotus

བྱམས་~  འམ་བརྩེའི་~   འོད་~མདངས་   དཀར་~  འ~   པོ~།

jyǎm~  ǎmzei~   hǒd~dàŋ   gar~  ǎ~   bo~,

Whose white light of love and compassion

འཛམ་~ འམ་གླིང་   རྒྱན་~དུ་   འཕྲོས་~  འོས~   སོང་~།

Irradiates the world as an ornament,

        Irradiates the world as an ornament.

ཏི་~སེ་   གངས་~རིའི་   རྩེ་~  འེ~   ན~ འ~།

di~se   gǎŋ~rii   ze~  ě~ na~ ǎ~,

On the top of the Snow Mountain Kailash

གངས་~སེང་   གཡུ་~རལ་   ཅན་~པོ~  འོ~ ~།

gǎŋ~seŋ   yú~ral   jan~bo~ ǒ~ ~,

The snow lion with his turquoise crest,

བརྗིད་~  འི་ཉམས་~   དཔའ་~དང་   ལྡན་~  འན~   ཏེ~།

jíd~  ĭŋám~   ba~dǎŋ   dán~  ǎn~   de~,

Magnificent and brave,

གངས་~ འང་རིའི་   རྒྱན་~དུ་   བཞུགས་~  འུག~   སོང་~།

gǎŋ~ ǎŋrii   gyán~dǔ   xúg~  ǔ~   soŋ~.

Remains as an ornament of the Snow Mountain.

You who belong to the same original lineage,

ཆོལ་~གསུམ་   བོད་~རིགས་   སྤུན་~ཟླ~ འ~ ~།

Tibetan brothers and sisters of the three regions,

On the earth, the three regions of Tibet.
