གཞས་ཚིག་    ཁྲག་རྒྱུན།

        གཞས་གདངས་    ཕུར་བུ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ།

        གཞས་མ་    ཧོར་གཙང་ལྷ་ལུང་མཚོ།

        lha-luŋ-cò

སེང་~  དཀར་~མོའི་   བུ་~ཕྲུག་   མ་~ཡིན་   ཏེ~འེ~།

seŋ~  gar~moi   bǔ~trug   ma~yin   de~ě~,

Even though I am not a cub of the snow lioness,

ང་~  དགའ་~ས་   གངས་~རིའི་   ཞིང་~ཁམས་   ཡིན~འིན~།

na~  gá~sa   gǎŋ~rii   xĭŋ~kam   yin~ĭn~.

The place I like is the abode of the snow mountains.

གནས་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   ཕ་~ས་   ཡོད~འོད~།

nás~  dě~na   ŋa~yi   pa~sa   yod~ǒd~.

That is the place of my ancestors.

ས་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   ཕ་~མ་    ཡོད~འོད~།

sa~  dě~na   ŋa~yi   pa~ma    yod~ǒd~.

In that land, there are my parents.

    གནས་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   ཕ་~ས་   ཡོད~འོད~།

    nás~  dě~na   ŋa~yi   pa~sa   yod~ǒd~.

    That is the place of my ancestors.

        ས་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   ཕ་~མ་    ཡོད~འོད~།

        sa~  dě~na   ŋa~yi   pa~ma    yod~ǒd~.

        In that land, there are my parents.

            བསྭོ་~འོ    ཡག་~རེ་   ཡག་~རེ་  ལོ~འོ།

            sò~ǒ   yag~re   yag~re  lo~ǒ

            Oh, how good, how good! Lo-o

Even though I am not the breed of the white sheep,

ང་~  དགའ་~ས་   ཕ་~ཡུལ་   རྩྭ་~ཐང་   ཡིན~འིན~།

ŋa~  ga~sa   pa~yul   za~taŋ   yin~ĭn~.

The place I like is the grassland of my motherland.

ཐང་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   སྦྲ་~གུར་   ཡོད~འོད~།

taŋ~  de~na   ŋa~yi   dra~gur   yod~ǒd~.

In that meadow, there is my yak hair tent.

ཁྱིམ་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   བརྩེ་~རོགས་    ཡོད~འོད~།

kyim~  de~na   ŋa~yi   ze~rog    yod~ǒd~.

In that dwelling, there is my loving companion.

    ཐང་~  དེ་~ན་   ང་~ཡི་   སྦྲ་~གུར་   ཡོད~འོད~།

    taŋ~  de~na   ŋa~yi   dra~gur    yod~ǒd~.

    In that meadow, there is my yak hair tent.

The place I like is the land of my Tibetan brothers.
