གཞས་ཚིག        མགོ་ལོག་བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྡོ་རྗེ།

ངས་~ འས~འས    པི་~ཝང་   དཀྲོལ་~བཞིན་   སྟོད་~ འོད~ ལ་~  འ~    སོང་~~།

ŋas~ ǎs~ǎs    bi~waŋ   drol~xín   dod~ ǒd~ la~  ǎ~   soŋ~,

Playing the piwang fiddle I went to the Upper Region,

སྟོད་~ དབུས་~འགྱུར་   འུ~འུ   ཆོས་~ འོས་ཀྱི་~  ཞིང་~ ལ་~    སོང~~།

dod~ wús~gyùr   ǔ~ǔ   qos~ ǒs-gyi~  xĭŋ~ la~  soŋ~~.

I went to the Upper Region, the pure land of the main dissemination of the Dharma.

རྗེ་~ འེ~  བླ་~འ་མ་   བཟང་~པོའི་   སྐུ་~ འུ~  མདུན་~  འུན~    ནས~~།

jé~ ě~   lá~ǎ-ma   sáŋ~boi   gu~ ǔ~   dùn~  ǔn~   na~~,

In the presence of a good venerable lama,

ངས་~    འཛམ་~གླིང་   ཞི~བདེ་   གླུ་ཡིས་~ འིས~༑

ŋas~ zàm~líŋ   xĭ~dé   lú-yis~ ĭs~,

                གླུ་~ འུ~  ཡིས་~  འིས   བསྟོད~།

                lú~ ǔ~  yis~ ĭs~   dod~

I praised the peace of the world with a song.

    བསྭོ་~ཧོ  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ  འོ~འོ  ཡ་~ འ~ ལ་~ འ~ བསྭོ~ འོ~།

    so~ho  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ ǒ~ ǒ  ya~ ǎ~ la~ ǎ~ so~ ǒ~

ཆོས་~ རིག་~གཞུང་   དར་~བའི་   གངས་~ཅན་   པར།

qos~ rig~xúŋ   dǎr~vai   gǎŋ~jan   bar,

To the Tibetans who spread the Dharma tradition

སེམས་~ སྐྱིད་~སྡུག་   མཐུན་~པའི་   གླུ་~ཞིག་   བླངས།

sem~ gyid~dúg   tùn~bai   lú~xĭg   láŋ.

I sang a song about the happiness and sorrow joined in my mind.

རི་~  ཁ་~ བ་~    ཅན་~ གྱི་~    ཞིང་~འིང་ཁམས་   ནས~།

ri~  ka~ va~    jan~ gyi~    xĭŋ~ĭn-kam   nas~,

From the pure land of the snow-capped mountains,

དུས་~ འུ་~ ལ་~   འཛོམས་~ པའི་~༑

dǔs~ ǔs~ la~   zòm~ bai~,

I expressed the aspiration,

            དུས་~ལ་~   འཛོམས་~པའི་~སྨོན་~ འོན~ ལམ་~ འམ~   བཏབ~~~~།

            dǔs~la~   zòm~bai~   mòn~ ǒn~  lam~ ǎm~   dab~~~~!

            I expressed the aspiration, “May the time come when we will be reunited!”

ངས་~ འས~འས   པི་~ཝང་   དཀྲོལ་~བཞིན་   དབུས་ འུས~ ལ་~   འ~    སོང་~།

ŋas~ ǎs~ǎs   bi~waŋ   drol~xín   wús~ ǔs~ la~   ǎ~   soŋ~,

Playing the piwang I went to the Middle Region,

དབུས་~ ཉི་~མ་  འ~འ  ལྷ་~ འ་སའི་~   ཞིང་~ ལ་~    སོང~~།

wús~ ñi~ma ǎ~ǎ   lha~ ǎ-sai~  xĭŋ~ la~   soŋ~~.

I went to the pure land of Lhasa, the sun of the central province.

ཡུལ་~ འུལ~  དབུས་~འུ་་གཙང་   ཆོས་~ཀྱི་   ཆོལ་~ འོལ~   ཁ་~  འ~    ནས~~།

yul~ ǔl~ wús~ǔs-zaŋ   qos~gyi   qol~ ǒl~ ka~   ǎ~ nas~~,

From the Dharma province of Ü-Tsang,

བོད་~ ཁ་~བའི་   མཐུན་~སྒྲིལ་   གླུ་ཡིས་~ འིས~༑

bǒd~ ka~vai   tùn~dríl   lú-yis~ ĭs~.

                གླུ་~ འུ~  ཡིས་~  འིས   བསྟོད~།

                lu~ ǔ~  yis~  ĭs~   dod~

I praised the unity of Tibet with a song.

    བསྭོ་~ཧོ  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ  འོ~འོ  ཡ་~ འ~ ལ་~ འ~ བསྭོ~ འོ~།

    so~ho  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~ ǒ~ǒ  ǒ ǒ~ ǒ  ya~ ǎ~ la~ ǎ~ so~ ǒ~

ཤ་~ རུས་~པ་   གཅིག་~པའི་   མིང་~སྲིང་    ཚོར།

xa~ rus~ba   jig~bai   miŋ~sìŋ   cor,

To my brothers and sisters of the same flesh and bones,

སེམས་~ ཁ་~བཏགས་   གཙང་~མའི་   སྐྱེས་~ཤིག་   ཕུལ།

sem~ ka~dag   zaŋ~mai   gyes~xig   pul.

I offered the gift of a pure white scarf of the mind.

དབུས་~ ལྷ་~ ལྡན་~   ཆོས་~ ཀྱི་~   དགའ་~འ་ཚལ་   ནས~།

wús~ lha~ dán~   qos~ gyi~   gá~ǎ-cal  nas~,

From the Dharma pleasure grove of Lhasa in the center,

དུས་~ ནམ་~འང་ཡང་   འཛོམས་~ པའི་~༑

dǔs~ nam~ǎm-yaŋ   zòm~ bai~,

I expressed the aspiration,

            ནམ~འང་ཡང་~  འཛོམས་~པའི་~སྨོན་~ འོན~ ལམ་~ འམ~  བཏབ~~~~།

            nam~ǎm-yaŋ    zom~bai    mòn~ ǒn~  lam~ ǎm~   dab~~~~!

            I expressed the aspiration, “May we always be united!”

ངས་~ འས~འས    པི་~ཝང་   དཀྲོལ་~བཞིན་   སྨད་ འད~ ལ་~  འ~    སོང་~།

སྨད་~ མདོ་~སྨད་ འད~འད   རིག་~ འའི་པའི་~  ཞིང་~ ལ་~    སོང~~།

màd~ dò~màd   ǎd~ǎd   rig~ ĭg-bai~   xĭŋ~ la~   soŋ~~.

I went to the pure land of knowledge, Amdo.

དཔལ་~ འལ~   མདོ་~འོ་སྨད་   རིག་~པའི་   གླིང་~ འིང~ ཁ་~  འ~    ནས~~།

bal~ ǎl~   dò~ǒ-màd   rig~bai   líŋ~ ĭŋ~ ka~   ǎ~   nas~~,

From the garden of knowledge of glorious Amdo,

བོད་~ ཕ་~སྐད་   གཙང་~མ་   གླུ་ཡིས་~ འིས~༑

bǒd~ pa~gad   zaŋ~ma   lú-yis~ ĭs~.

                གླུ་~ འུ~  ཡིས་~  འིས   བསྟོད~།

                lu~ ǔ~  yis~  ĭs~   dod~

I praised the pure father language of Tibet with a song.

    བསྭོ་~ཧོ  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ  འོ~འོ  ཡ་~ འ~ ལ་~ འ~ བསྭོ~ འོ~།

    so~ho  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ ǒ~ ǒ  ya~ ǎ~ la~ ǎ~ so~ ǒ~

ཕ་~ མེས་~པོ་   གཅིག་~པའི་   ཕུ་~ནུ་   ཚོར།

pa~ mes~bo   jig~bai   pu~nu   cor,

To my brothers and sisters with the same ancestors,

སེམས་~ དགའ་~སྐྱོ་   འདྲེས་~མའི་   གཏམ་~ཞིག་   བཤད།

sem~ gá~gyo   drès~mai   dam~xĭg   xàd.

I told a tale about the mixture of joy and sorrow in my mind.

ཡུལ་~ མདོ་~སྨད་   ཤེས་~རིག་   དགའ་~འ་ཚལ་   དུ~།

yul~ dò~màd   xes~rig   gá~ǎ-cal dǔ~,

In the pleasure grove of culture, the Amdo region,

དུས་~ ནམ་~འང་ཡང་~   དར~ བའི་~༑

dǔs~ nam~ǎm-yaŋ~   dǎr~ vai~,

I expressed the aspiration,

            ནམ་~འམ་ཡང་~  དར་~པའི་~  སྨོན་~ འོན~ ལམ་~ འམ~   བཏབ~~~~།

            nam~ǎm-yaŋ~  dǎr~vai~  mòn~ ǒn~ lam~ ǎm~  dab~~~~.

            I expressed the aspiration, “May it flourish again!”

    བསྭོ་~ཧོ  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ~  འོ~འོ  འོ  འོ~འོ  ཡ་~ འ~ ལ་~ འ~ བསྭོ~ འོ~།

    so~ho  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~ ǒ~ǒ  ǒ~  ǒ~ǒ  ǒ  ǒ~ ǒ  ya~ ǎ~ la~ ǎ~ so~ ǒ~.

pa~ mes~bo jig~bai pu~nu cor,
