ཚེ་དབང་ལྷ་མོ་དང་ལྷ་ལུང་མཚོ།

    ce-wáŋ lha-mo & lha-luŋ cò

ཁ་ ~བཏགས་   དཀར་~པོ་   གངས་~ཅན་   བོད་~ན་   དར~ འ~~~།

ka ~dag   gar~bo   gǎŋ~jan   bǒd~na    dǎr~ǎ~~~,

White scarves are diffused in snowy Tibet,

                            བོད་~ན་ འ~  དར~ ~།

                            bǒd~na ǎ~ dǎr~ ~,

                            in snowy Tibet,

    བོད་ ~ཀྱི་   སེམས་~པ་   ཁ་~བཏགས་ འག~ བཞིན་~དུ་ འུ~  དཀར~ འ།

    bǒd ~gyi  sem~ba  ka~dag ǎg~ xín~dǔ ǔ~ gar~ ǎ.

    And the minds of the Tibetans are as white as those scarves.

ཇོ་~མོ་   ལྷ་~རིའི་   རི་~རྩེ་ འེ~   དགུང་~ལ་  འ~ རེག~ འེ།

jǒ~mo   lha~rii   ri~ze ě~  gúŋ~la  ǎ~ reg~ ě,

The peak of the Chomo Lhari touches the sky,

    སྒང་ ~པ་   བོད་~ཀྱི་   དབུ་~འཕང་ འང~  དེ་~དང་  འང~  མཉམ~ འང~~~།

    gáŋ ~ba   bǒd~gyi  wú~pàŋ ǎŋ~ de~dǎŋ  ǎŋ~ nám~ǎŋ ~~~.

    And the glory of the Tibetans is just as high.

        བསྭོ་~འོ~   ཡ་~རེ་   ལོ~  འོ~ ~~།

        sò~ǒ~    ya~re    lo~   ǒ~ ~~ 

    རྨ་~ འ་འབྲི་   གཙང་~པོ་   བོད་~ནས་   བབས་སོང་།

    má~ ǎ་drì   zaŋ~bo   bǒd~nas   bǎb-soŋ,

  The Yellow River and the Yangtse River originate in Tibet,

        བོད་~ཀྱི་   ལོ་~རྒྱུས་   དེ་~ལས་   རིང་སོང་།

        bǒd~gyi   lo~gyús   dě~las   riŋ-soŋ.

    And the history of Tibet is longer than those rivers.

            ཡབ་~གཅིག་   སྤྲེ~འུ་   བྱང་~ཆུབ་   སེམས་~ འས~ དཔས~།

            yab~jig   dre~hǔ   jyǎŋ~qub   sem~ ěm~ bas~ 

      The sole ancestor, the Bodhisattva-ape,

                ཨ་~ འ~    ཧ་~ཧ་   ཧ་~

                a~   ǎ~   ha~ha    ha~

        གདོང་~དམར་   མཆེད་~ཁུངས་   ལྷ་~ལ་   བྱས་~ འས~ སོང་~ ~།

        dóŋ~már   qèd~kuŋ   lha~la   jyǎs~ ǎs~  soŋ~ ~.

    Gave divine origin to the ruddy-faced siblings.

པོ་ ~ཏ་   ལ་~རུ་   ལྷ་~མིའི་   ཆོས་~ཁྲིམས་    བསྡོམས~འམ~~~།

bo ~ta   la~ru   lha~mii   qos~trim   dóm~ǎm~~

In the Potala palace divine law and human law were established,

                                ཆོས་~ཁྲིམས་ འིམ~ བསྡོམས~ཡེ~།

                            qos~trim  ĭm~ dóm~ye~ .

                            were established.

གཙུག་ ~ལག་  གཉིས་~ནས་   རྒྱལ་~བསྟན་ འན~ དར་~ཞིང་ འིང~  རྒྱས~ འས།

zug ~lag   ñís~nas   gyál~dan ǎn~ dǎr~xĭŋ ĭn~ gyás~ ǎs.

From the two temples the teaching of the Victorious One spread and flourished.

    ཇོ་~ཤཱཀ་  སེམས་~དཔའི་   ཐུགས་~བརྩེ་ འེ~ འཛམ་~གླིང་  འིང~ ཁྱབ~ འ།

    jǒ~xag   sem~bai   tug~ze ě~  zàm~líŋ  ĭŋ~ kyab~ ǎ.

    The compassion of the heroic Jowo Shakyamuni statues pervaded the world.

        བོད་ ~ཡུལ་  ཆོས་~ཀྱི་  ཞིང་~ཁམས་ འམ~ ཞེས་~སུ་ འུ~ གྲགས~ཡེ~།

        bǒd ~yul   qos~gyi   xĭŋ~kam ǎm~  xěs~su  ǔ~ drǎg~ ye~.

        Hence Tibet is known as a pure dimension of Dharma.

        བསྭོ་~འོ~   ཡ་~རེ་   ལོ~  འོ~ ~~།

        sò~ǒ~    ya~re    lo~   ǒ~ ~~ 

    མཚོ་~ ཆེན་   རྣམ་~བཞི་  བོད་~ན་  འཁྱིལ་སོང་།

    cò~ ǒqen   nám~xí  bǒd~na  kyìl-soŋ,

    The Four Great Lakes are formed in Tibet,

        བོད་~ཀྱི་   བསྟན་~སྲིད་   མཚོ་~ལས་   ཟབ་སོང་།

        bǒd~gyi   dan~sìd   cò~las   sǎb-soŋ.

    And the Tibetan dharma and political system are more profound than those lakes.

            རྒྱལ་~དབང་   སྲོང་~བཙན་   མི་~ཡི་   མགོན་~ འོན~ པོས~།

            gyál~wáŋ   sòŋ~zan   mi~yi   gòn~ ǒn~ bos~,

      The victorious king Songtsan Gampo, protector of human beings,

                ཨ་~ འ~    ཧ་~ཧ་   ཧ་~

                a~  ǎ~   ha~ha   ha~

        ཆོས་~སྲིད་   ཉི་~ཟླའི་   འོད་~སྣང་   ཕྱེས་~ འེས~  སོང་~ཡེ~།

        qos~sìd   ñi~dái   hǒd~nàŋ   qyes~ ěs~  soŋ~ ~.

    Revealed the light of the sun for the Dharma and the moon for the political system.
