                 གཞས་པ་        ཆོས་གྲགས།

ས་~འདི་ལ   མི་~ཡི་   ལུང་~འུང  འུང~པ།

sa~dìla   mi~yi   luŋ~ǔŋ  ǔŋ~ba.

This place is the place of others.

    ཉི་~མ་   ལོ་~ལས་   རིང་~འིང  སོང་~སོང་  བསྭོ~འོ་  འོ~འོ་  ཡེ~ ཡེ།

    ñi~ma   lo~las   riŋ~ĭŋ  soŋ~soŋ   sò~ǒ  ǒ~ǒ  ye~ ye.

  A day is longer than a year.

        ཉི་~མ་   རིང་~བ་  མ་~འ  འ~ཚད།

        ñi~ma   riŋ~va  ma~ǎ  ǎ~cad

        Not only are the days much longer

            ཕ་~ཡུལ་   ས་~ཐག་   རིང་~འིང  འིང~སོང་   བསྭོ~འོ  ཡ~ ལ།

            pa~yul   sa~tag   riŋ~ ĭŋ  ĭŋ ~soŋ   sò~ǒ  ya~ la.

      My land is also far away from here.

སྐྱེ་~བ་   མི་~དང་   མཉམ་~འམ  འམ~རུང་།

gye~va   mi~dǎŋ   ñám~ǎm  ǎm~ruŋ,

My birth is just like that of other human beings,

    བསོད་~ནམས་   མི་~དང་   མ་~འ  མཉམ་~འམ   བསྭོ~འོ་  འོ~འོ་  ཡེ~ ཡེ།

    sòd~nam   mi~dǎŋ   ma~ǎ  ñám~ǎm   sò~ǒ  ǒ~ǒ  ye~ ye.

    But my merits are not similar.

སྐྱིད~པའི་ལ   ཕ་~ཡུལ་   བཞག་~འག  འག~ནས།

gyid~baila   pa~yul   xág~ǎg  ǎg~nas,

I had to leave my beloved country.

    འཁུམ་~ས་   མི་~ཡི་  ལུང་~འུང  འུངཔ་   བསྭོ~འོ  ཡ~ ལ།

    kùm~sa   mi~yi  luŋ~ǔŋ  ǔŋba   sò~ǒ  ya~ la.

    I am spending my life in another country.

ཚེ་~སྔོན་   ཚོགས་~བསགས་   མེད་~འེད  འེད~པས།

ce~ŋòn   cog~sàg   med~ěd  ěd~bas,

There are no merits accumulated in my previous lives,

    ལས་~ངན་   ཅན་~གྱི་   སྤྲང་~འང  པོ~འོ   བསྭོ~འོ་  འོ~འོ་  ཡེ~ ཡེ།

    las~ŋan   jan~gyĭ   draŋ~ǎŋ  bo~ǒ   sò~ǒ  ǒ~ǒ  ye~ ye .

    And due to the result of bad karma, I am also a poor person.

        ས་~འདི་ལ   མི་~ཡི་   ལུང་~འུང  འུང~པ།

        sa~dìla   mi~yi   luŋ~ǔŋ  ǔŋ~ba,

        This country is the country of other people.

            ཕ་~མ་    ཁྱིམ་~གཞིས་  མེད་~འེད  འེད~སོང་   བསྭོ~འོ་  འོ~འོ  ཡ~ ལ།

            pa~ma   kyim~xís  med~ ěd  ěd~soŋ   sò~ǒ  ǒ~ǒ ya~ la.

            I have no family and parents here, nobody.

སྐྱེ་~བ་   མི་~དང་   མཉམ་~འམ  འམ~རུང་།
